Last summer as the Academic Coach and Coordinator of the Summer Enrichment program, I worked very closely with Eureka Education, LLC. as they provided our school with high quality and rigorous hands-on STEM afternoon enrichment services. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the administrators and instructors who were very dedicated to ensure that our students got the best STEM enrichment learning experience possible. Not only were the students actively engaged throughout the day but they received appropriate incentives and got to take home every week specially customized kits that they and their parents could work with. Before I became principal at GHEMS, I interacted with Eureka Education on an MSP grant project that I was co-PI on. This company provided our project with a full week of rigorous hands-on PD/teacher training in Environmental Education that included field activities. I was able to observe firsthand the thoroughness and high quality PD training that Dr. Wilson offered our high school teachers in Environmental sciences. From my many interactions with this company and the different services and products they provided over the years, I can attest that our students enjoyed learning STEM and receive enrichment activities that will enhance their academic performance in school.

As the Division Director of Early Childhood Services at St. Vincent DePaul of Maryland, I have worked with Eureka Education every year for over 12 years now. During this period and as recently as summer 2021, Eureka Education has provided St. Vincent DePaul Camp Discovery summer program with excellent services. These services include the following: Conducting orientation and professional development in STEM for Camp Discovery instructors and assistants; recruiting and training Eureka Education STEM instructors that teach in-person and (for the last two years due to COVID-19) on-line/virtually the one-week STEM Immersion Camp at St. Vincent; Provided customized hands-on STEM activities KITS; Assisted Camp Discovery with organization and facilitation of educational field trips for all camp sites to the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center for the campers, their parents and teachers.
